…I mean, the video that emerged from the ticket office sums it up best. This is the best possible thing that could have happened for the Pels. Why I myself am not THAT big of a conspiracy theorist, I do find it hilarious that after the Pels lose the generational talent of CP3 they win the lottery that year and select AD. Now, when they are about to lose AD, they win the lottery that will get them Zion.
What a coincidence right? But talk about being helped to title contender status. The Pels are now in the easiest position to build a title contender. Right now, before any trades, the Pels starting lineup is Jrue Holiday, E’Twuan Moore, Zion Williamson, Julius Randle, and Anthony Davis. While their bench may be the most abysmal in the NBA (I mean, it’s just Solomon Hill and some other bags of trash right now), that starting lineup is enough to possibly entice more than a few players to New Orleans to play down there. Heck, trading Solomon Hill and some second round picks would free up some additional money or net them a decent rotation player.
Sorry for the short article. Working on something big. Stay tuned ladies and gents.
