Welcome back to the morning Juice where I give you mortal locks for the days MLB games. I am currently 25-9 which is 74% after a 4-2 performance last time out. 6 more bets today…Let’s get started.
I took a gamble on these two teams and said they would be surprisingly good this year… well I was wrong. I thought the Giants would be decent considering their 3-time World Series coach announced his retirement and the Rockies had so much to build on from last season, but nah. They both sit at 16-20 and are not close to the top of their division. After the rain out yesterday, the series is 1-0 in favor of SF and the season series is now 4-1 SF. Today we have Holland (1-4 5.34 ERA) going up against Freeland (2-5 5.90 ERA) and it will not be a pitching battle of any kind. I expect that this will be a slugfest and could come down to the very last inning to see who comes out on top. To me, I think that the Rockies are the better team. They have more to play for and they can still turn things around to win their division. Give me the Rockies 9-4. Colorado -1.5 and the over 8.5.
Well, it is May 9th and I have cancelled the Reds and all their hopes to make the postseason. They do not know how to win and it is honestly embarrassing. They have so much talent but time and time again are beaten by inferior teams because their manager is a fucking idiot with no experience beforehand but it is typical Castellini. The Reds are a complete joke thanks to him and his incompetence. He only hires and promotes friends and it does not matter their past results or anything to do with that. So what knows what the hell to expect from this team. Today we have Roark (2-1 3.82 ERA) going against Bassitt (1-0 2.12 ERA). I’d like to say the Reds win this game, but honestly who knows. Roark is a huge hit or miss and apparently so is this offense anymore. The Athletics SUCK but the Reds suck more. I think the Reds do steal this one (I pray) to avoid the sweep. Reds win 3-1. Cincinnati +1.5 and under 8.
I’ve said this once and I’ll say it again… The Yankees are the best team in baseball. They have yet to have a fully healthy lineup, yet they are towards the top in every single category. They have found their stride with Luke Voit leading the way and when Aaron Judge, Stanton, Sevy, DiDi, and the rest of their starters return… this team will win the World Series. They are the best team with the most complete lineup. The Mariners have slowed their roll and look to somehow steal a split in this series. Today we have Leake (2-3 4.91 ERA) going up against JA Happ (1-3 4.93 ERA). I think Happ has found his stride but had a hiccup last start. I think he’ll be lights out tonight and the Yankees roll. Give me New York -1.5 and the under 9. Yanks win 5-1.
