Well, we’re back. What started as a Saturday gambling blog has turned into a daily College Basketball Gambling Advice. I currently sit on a 29-16-1 record, after going 4-2 on Saturday. So, let’s get started with our 2 games (4 bets) tonight!
We’ll start in Ames, Iowa, with what would have been an amazing matchup a few weeks ago. This Iowa State team has really hit a bump lately. What started as a quest to dethrone Kansas, has ended quite poorly. Every time they seem to build some speed, they lose the next night. Marial Shayok will be the key for Iowa St. The senior guard averages 18.5 points while shooting 49% from the field. If he gets going, they’ll blow Oklahoma away. For Oklahoma, Christian James will lead the charge. He is their everything leading the team in rebounds and points. The winner will be decided based on which Christian James and Marial Shayok shows up. Iowa State averages 78 points per game and allows 67 while Oklahoma scores 71.1 while giving up 67 as well. Iowa State will only lose if they beat themselves, so I’ll take them 77-69. Bet Iowa State -7.5 and take the under 149.
The game of the night, actually, the whole week. Kansas State is looking to knock the Jayhawks out in the final round of the Big 12 Championship bout. Kansas, currently sitting at 9-5 in the Big 12, needs this game to have a chance to improve their decade long reign in the Big 12. What better way to start your surge than against the 11-3 conference leaders, Kansas State. This game will be insane. So much on the line and so much tension in the arena. Kansas never has “big” games in the Big 12 due to the conference being terrible. In their last matchup, Kansas State won by 7 and it wasn’t all that close. Dedric Lawson is going to need to go the f*** off and be an absolute beast in this one. He needs a 20/20 game or at least 20/15 and Dotson will have to pick up the slack. For Kansas St, Brown and Wade need to cancel out Lawson and they’ll be good. I think it will be an intense game, but I’ll take KSU 71-68. So take KSU +5 and the under 148.
I’ll be back for 2 more tomorrow. Enjoy the games.
