Lakers Pull out of Anthony Davis Talks

The Los Angeles Lakers have reportedly pulled out of talks with the New Orleans Pelicans for Anthony Davis. According to sources, the Lakers are walking due to outrageous offers from the Pelicans.

Magic Johnson, Lakers President of Basketball Operations, told Pelicans GM Dell Demps that they have given the Pelicans their best offer for Davis. That offer included Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, Rajon Rondo, Lance Stephenson, Michael Beasley and two first-round draft picks for Anthony Davis and contract relief of Solomon Hill.

Another possible offer for Davis was basically sending every young person on LA to New Orleans. The deal included Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart, Brandon Ingram, Ivica Zubac, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and two first-round picks for AD and Solomon Hill.

Yeah, the Pelicans were the ones being ridiculous. The Lakers offered trash for AD. They are basically the annoying guy in your fantasy football league that offers you two second-string running backs and two defenses for Ezekiel Elliot. As a Celtics fan, this is music to my ears. Now there is a much higher probability that AD comes to Boston.
