In response to the California wildfires tearing through the state, Chico Native Aaron Rodgers put out a video showing his support for wildfire victims. He pledges to give his own money and more in a joint effort with State Farm to help those displaced and in need. Really nice of Rodgers to do this and a great display of solidarity with his community. Everything was fine and good until he got discount double checked by his own, less talented brother Jordan on Twitter.
YIKES. The day before Thanksgiving too? Come on, man. This Thanksgiving is shaping up to be one for the books at the Rodgers’. Expect this year’s family touch football game to be a little bit more physical this year.
On a serious note, if you can donate, please do. You can go to www.nvcf.org/aaronrodgersfund/ and/or retweet his video that Jordan obviously wasn’t okay with here. State Farm is donating $1 for every retweet up to $1 million.
